I have never been a party person. Those have always bored me with their obsession with absence of Vitamin D, music that threatens your eardrums & rules about how to dress up, who to speak with & how much to speak.

I don’t like that. I like places that let me be where I can do what I want to do, how I want to do – without any rules on how should I be dressed up, who all should I speak with & how should I sit. Really! Why so many rules about how should we sit?!

So, places that are devoid of people, have enough Sunlight (even if it burns), give me the space to ‘be me’ or say, laze around or sleep – without any evident need of engaging in social conversations, are my favorite. And if that place serves a ‘cup of tea’ with a free wi-fi connection, I have found my ‘heaven’. You see, Karnataka has so many such places where I can ‘be me’, snooze till evening while I gulp endless tea & binge on crunchy sandwiches. And I can just hole up, in these places, forever.
